Many years ago, when I first started working with liquid polymer, I made a series of tests with notes. My aim at the time was to see what I could put into liquid polymer and how the colors looked when back-lit by natural light. The photos below have the notes on them. I was delighted to find that liquid polymer will stick to anything that is smooth (glass, polished wood, plastic, tile, metal, the list is endless, poster board - anything smooth!). I decided that this was a great medium in which to make interesting window-clings. I hope my early insights are helpful. At the time, I was not aware of tests anyone else had done. It didn't even occur to me to look. I had a lot of fun trying these out. The results of some were to be expected (such as with water based inclusions), others not so much. Please note: all of these were made with Liquid Sculpey. |
